This manor house includes an artists-in-residence programme, murals from contemporary artists, as well as works from earlier times. You will find a patio and a bar, ideal for a quiet outdoor time.

The beautiful ex-Dominican convent is now organized so that musical groups can rehearse and for artists to work and run workshops. The architecture gives a fine understanding of Guimarães´ past and murals from young painters can be found in its many corners. The convent is open day and night offering music and a familiar environment. If you wish to have a guided tour and discover the vinyl and fanzines kiosk, please ask the first person you may find.

An excellent shop to find typical traditional embroidery of the region. Mr. António Pastor, the owner of the shop is an acknowledged patrimony preserver and a talented drawer.
