Annie Flores Ramos (Lima, 1974)

Annie Flores graduated from the National School of Fine Arts of Perú with a major in Printmaking (Lima, 1997). In 2002 she was awarded with the first Prize in the V Contest of Visual Arts Passeport pour une Artiste, from the French Embassy in Lima. The following year, she travelled to France, where she graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg in 2005 and later on, she obtained a Masters degree in Visual Arts at the Université de Strasbourg in 2008.

She participated in several group exhibitions in Perú and abroad. She also presented four solo exhibitions : « Yo salgo » at rea visual and performance contemporary art, in Perugia (Italy, 2012) ; « El viaje » at the Gallaria Punt, in Samedan (Switzerland, 2006) ; « Hagamos planes »  at the Science Centre di Città della Scienza, in Naples (Italy, 2004) and  « El pasajero » at the Cecilia Gonzalez Gallery, in Lima (Perú, 2002).

Her work was awarded with several distinctions, such as the First Honorary Mention in the V Contest of Plastic Arts Fundación Telefónica in Lima (2001), the First Honorary Mention of the XXIV National Saloon of Printmaking ICPNA in Lima (1993), and she was recognized  « Artista distinguido » by an international jury in El Ultimo Lustro, in Lima (1998).

The last years, she continued her studies in History of Art at the Université de Strasbourg, gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011. She is currently studying History of Art and at the same time she is also working on her personal artistic project.

Since 2003 she lives and works between Lima and Strasbourg.
