This painting was made at the original size of the book “Against the map”, an essay written by contemporary art historian Estrella de Diego. The essay argues that artists often transgress established narratives and codifications of maps as a weapon to reformulate borders. This cover corresponds to the first edition published in Spain by Siruela in 2008.
