Anarchitekton (Bucarest)

Jordi Colomer´s Anarchitekton project “uproots” buildings and makes them interact with the city and its citizens. This video work establishes a tension within the psychology of urbanism and domestic life. Like an athlete with the city for stadium or a protester who took over the buildings, the runner Idroj Sanicne breaks the routine. Instead of being filled by occupants, each building is controled by the displacments of this man. In the projection room, the visitor is confronted to the same question. All the chairs are placed randomnly for visitors to build their space and perspective upon this action.
