More about Shipwreck simulator

Shipwreck Simulator recreates all the possible wave conditions that a small boat may encounter in a storm. Lights of different kinds enable us to study the shape of the wave or how the boat’s structure behaves. Fernando Sánchez Castillo was studying the fascination for disaster and chaos; an installation in where a machine is creating a storm in a fish tank in which a small boat is continuously sinking. The interior images, captured by macro video camera, are projected on the wall, creating the sensation of an event at real scale.
