Alice Vega studied Mass Communications at the university and has exhibited her work in group shows since 1997. She has had two solo shows in her career: “Untitled” (Peruvian North American Cultural Institute, Trujillo, 1997), “25 years/25 days” (TOP 24 @ Kunstmeile Krems, Austria, 2004).

From all her exhibitions we can single out “Pact with the uncertain moment” (Spanish Cultural Center, Lima, 1999) “About the art of being a woman” (Casa de la Emancipacion, Trujillo, 2002), “LIMA I(NN)MEMORIAM (III Latinoamerican Lima Biennial, 2002) and “automatic!” (Peruvian North American Cultural Institute, Lima, 2004).

Besides her work as visual artist, Vega has developed a career as a cultural manager organizing solo and group exhibitions of print, film, photography, painting and video. She managed, alongside Jano Cortijo and Ruth Proglhof, the art gallery “the office” in Trujillo, between march 2003 and july 2004.
