This painting was made at the original size of the book “El centro histórico de la ciudad de México” written by Carlos Monsiváis and illustrated with photographs by Francis Alÿs. The book shows street scenes from the 90´s and retraces the historic ambiance and economic life of this part of the city. This spanish edition was published by Turner and MACBA in 2005.
