More about Walking Distance from the Studio
This painting was made at the original size of the book “Walking Distance from the Studio” which consists in the description of 36 works of Francis Alÿs that deal with the idea of the walk and the passerby. The book includes a text by Cuauhtémoc Medina and an interview of the artist. It was published in english and spanish by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2006.
