More about Manet and the Object of Painting
This painting was made at the original size of the book “Manet and the object of Painting” written by Michel Foucault. Through Manet´s pictorial achievments, Foucault argues that Manet painting attained such a proximity with the real that it altered the roots of occidental painting since the renaissance. This first spanish edition was published by Alpha Decay in 2004.
